A lovely rich brown doe with black and silver highlights, Tootsie is the best milking doe we have ever had. As a fourth freshener
this year, she is giving 14 pounds or more of milk a day. Her tremendous will to milk demonstrates itself in spite of the weather
(heat wave, cold front, rain, sleet, snow), and even late into her lactation through heat cycles, being bred, and during early
pregnancy. Throughout all circumstances, the milk goes on! Tootsie is a very feminine doe with a lovely Roman nose and frosted
ears. She has an even temperament on the milk stand, kids with ease, and milks out quickly and easily. In four years, she has
given us twelve adorable kids. Her son, Rilian, has been retained in our herd. Tootsie was named a 2005 Nubian Breed Leader in
butterfat production!

Licorice is a striking black doe with very nicely shaped frosted ears and brown markings. She has the same easy-going nature
we so enjoy in her dam. In fact, she is everyone’s favorite showmanship doe because she handles so easily in the show ring.
Licorice has a nice, well-attached udder and good teat size and placement. Her fore-udder attachment is extremely smooth,
even when her udder is very full. As a second freshener, she routinely gave 11 pounds of milk per day and occasionally hit 12
pounds. Her production is not at its peak for this third freshening due to the necessity of a cesarean section to deliver
quadruplets. We are just thankful that she and all four babies survived! Licorice's daughter,
Cookie Doe has been retained in our herd.
In August, 2006, Licorice won first place in the two year-old Milker Class at the American Dairy Goat Show at the New River
Valley Fair.

A rich brown doe with striking markings, Eclair is a graceful and feminine third freshener. She has a very lovely, well-attached
udder, nice wide escutcheon, and very good teat size and placement. She has produced nearly a gallon and a half of milk each
day. She has shown herself to be a steady, consistent producer through bad weather and late into her lactation. Her dam was
an ADGA Grade Nubian Breed Leader in milk production for several years. This year she had a late term miscarriage and
delivered four kids six weeks before their due date. Sadly, they were too premature to survive, but Eclair still came into milk and
has consistently given over 6 pounds a day, even under these adverse conditions. Her daughter,
Coffee Cake, is also in our herd. Eclair was named a 2005 Nubian Recorded Grade Breed Leader in butterfat production!
Eclair won first place in the Recorded Grade Class at the American Dairy Goat Show at the New River Valley Fair in August of
2006. She was also named Recorded Grade Grand Champion, Best of Breed, and Best Udder.

Maple is a shiny red doe with beautiful breed character. Her nicely shaped ears gracefully frame her face with its strong Roman
nose. As a fourth freshener, her udder is well attached with good teat placement. She is a strong milker consistently producing
over a gallon and a half of milk a day. She has continually borne daughters even stronger than she is in both conformation and
milk production. Maple’s dam was an ADGA Grade Nubian Breed Leader in milk production for several years. Her daughter,
Licorice, and her granddaughter, Cookie Doe, are also in our herd.
