Faithful Farm Nubian Dairy Goats
"You will have plenty of goat's milk to feed you and your family." Proverbs 27:27

For Sale:

When animals become available for sale, you will find them listed here, so please check back often. If you have a specific need, please contact us.

This season's breeding schedule is listed below. The changing needs of our family have caused us to plan to breed only two does this year. Prices shown are for doe kids and intact buck kids. Only buck kids that we believe will make good herdsires will remain intact. All other buck kids will be neutered (wethers) and will be available as companion animals or pets for $100. All kids will be ready to leave at 8 weeks of age, and a boarding fee will apply to reserved kids kept past 8 weeks.

Reservation and Purchase Policy:

Our Nubians are greatly loved and we are dedicated to placing them in quality homes. We work hard and spend many hours and dollars to provide them with the best care we know how to give. Our veterinarian helps us to carefully manage our herd of high producers. We are also blessed to be near the Virginia Tech Veterinary School and can take advantage of their expertise as well. When you buy an animal from us, you will receive a healthy, quality Nubian. Our family will not sell you an animal that we would not keep ourselves. Even after you get your Nubian home, we are still available to hear updates on their progress and to offer any assistance that we can.

Dairy goats require dry, well-ventilated housing to protect them from wind and rain. They need secure fencing and must never be left tied out and vulnerable to predators. They should receive a good grain ration with quality hay and lots of water. A consistent deworming program, regular hoof trimming, and vaccinations against certain diseases will protect their health. But most of all, dairy goats need owners who will give them time and good management. If you are willing and able to provide these things, we would be happy to talk with you about our animals. If this is not what you had in mind, please do not reserve an animal from us.

A $50 deposit will reserve the kid of your choice, with the balance due when notified that your kid is born. We reserve the right to release your reservation if payment is not received within 14 days of notification of birth. When reserving a kid, we suggest that you also make a second choice. If the kids of your choice are not available for any reason, we will do our best to provide you with another kid, or you will have the option of cheerfully receiving a full refund of your deposit. However, we are unable to refund deposits on cancelled orders. Shipping, and any related costs, are paid in advance by the buyer. We reserve the right to retain any kid we need for our own breeding program, although we do attempt to indicate in advance any kids we plan to keep.
